St Cuthbert’s Parish Church, Dalmeny, was built starting around 1130 and finished by 1150. The Church was founded in the 12th century
by Gospatric whose grandfather had fled from William the Conqueror. Inside, there are three inter-linked spaces - nave, choir and chancel.
Intricate carved stone vaults rise over the chancel and apse. The windows are also decorated with carved capitals and hoodmoulds.

Carvings are also well preserved on the outside around the door ways and windows.
